28 Oct - Manhatten

Relaxing day today (trying to get Alex fully over his cold *sniff sniff*), so we went into Manhatten for a wander ....Oooooooo.

First stop was B&H, a big photography store run by Hassidic (sp?) Jews* that Alex has been itching to go to since we arrived. (I itch mossie bites, Alex itches for B&H...). The camera he was wanting we will have to wait for. Don't ask me details....um...it was black, with a round thing on the front.

Then we did the garment district. It's not what you think - clothing - but fabrics & findings etc. OOoooooooo. I spent ages fossicking in all the little trays and bought some lovely bits and pieces to use in the future. I know, that doesn't sound very exciting, but I can never get exactly what I want in Chch, so it was groovy looking at such a huge range.

We are off to the movies tonight - Blade Runner something - I'm quite confused though, up until a minute ago I thought that was the vampire one with Wesley Snipes, & when I asked what it was then, Alex just gave me a "where have you been" look. Oh well, popular culture never was my strong point. It had better not be a zombie movie....

Take care,
Love Rach.

PS: So proud of my subway skills. Mesoclever.

Dudes - wesoclever, we just got our google bloggers licence. Ah yes, Ciara has CD's by Ciara - not bad actually, quite catchy and definitely grow on you. Kiwi Ciara is a bit pouty about having her name stolen (and mispronounced) but ain't that just the way of the world.
Now is this going to continue? Are you not ashamed that your blog is just becoming an album of A list celebrity pix in NY? Have you nothing better to do?

Much love - the trois amigos in Dunedin
