Only days ago there was still an awful lot of building going on - but you cannot underestimate the power of a flock of Mexicans! We spent most of yesterday there & by the time we left most of the big stuff was done, but still so much finishing to go. Like the lack of floor on the DJ/Lighting booth - I am tiptoeing on framing.
Our responsibility is the light show (obviously), but we only installed the centre truss lights, another company installed the rest. So of course, theirs were all set up incorrectly, so when we should have been programming pretty sequences for tonight, we were working through all their mistakes. Typical - if you want something done right...Anyway, must eat the yummy cereal Alex just made me, before we head off to the club to make sure the magic happens at opening. As they say, the show must go on...
