The Basement Flat

This is the basement we are house-sitting in Park Slope. As it was never intended to he a home, it has quite a low ceiling. Alex has already smacked his skull a few times.

Being a basement it also has no windows, but it does have the only door to the backyard area, which is quite a score in New York.

This is Broomy (sp?), the cat I thought I had lost.

I had to take his pic when I saw him sitting next to the black cat sign.
