We decided to hire a rental car for our travels around Ireland. "Shouldn't be a problem," we thought, "Ireland's a modern country, they're a lefthand driving nation, it'll be a breeze to drive around". Except they have these quaint little roads with no signposts. Not even in the middle of a major city. Maybe a tiny streetsign nailed to a building if you're lucky, but you'll only see that after you've already driven past it and taken the wrong turn for the third time.
