14th November - Stationary Set play at the Trash Bar

You might have noticed in a much earlier entry that in a picture of the apartment there was a band practising in the background. Last night Rachel and I went along to see the band, called Stationary Set, perform at a classy venue called the Trash Bar....

The guy on the far right is Gabe, our roommate. I wasn't carrying a photo ID with me and the bar wouldn't let me in so I borrowed Gabe's drivers license to get entry - the guy at the door wasn't looking too hard at the actual photo.







We had heard these guys practising, but that doesn't really do them justice - you get kind of sick of the same chorus being played time and time again, with starts and stops while the band members discuss and finesse their work. Seeing them live was very cool. Now Rachel wants to become a 'groupie'. Oh dear....
